First picnic

The weather here has been really nice, so Elio and I took lunch to Dan on campus last Thursday.











And here's Elio getting some love...

Elio's favorite activity these days is flying through the air.

And he's getting quite good at drooling (though you can't really see it in this picture, trust me, there's a lot of drool going on).

And after a hard day's work, nothing's better than falling asleep in the bjorn.

Elio had his four month check-up yesterday and weighed in at 15 pounds, 6 ounces. He took his shots like a champ, and I only cried a little.

What's new this week

This week Elio's starting laughing. We have video to prove it ... but give us some time to get it posted here.

Dan and I took him for a walk in the park...





My cousin Lisa is here this week, and she's a godsend! She's a professional nanny, and I'm learning lots of top-secret baby stuff. She got Elio to drink out of a bottle this afternoon!



And she's got the magic touch when it comes to getting him to fall asleep...
