*feijoada is the national dish of Brazil: black beans and rice, with a little sausage mixed in, and collard greens and oranges on the side. Delish.

We went to the zoo this morning. I am in love with the baby anteater that was born last month. He rides around on his mom's back and is adorable.

... collards! i never heard of collards as a standard with moros y cristianos. that's exciting to me. do people eat a lot of collards in brazil?
I have no idea if they eat lots o' collards in Brazil, but I think they must if it's a part of the national food identity dish, right? So tasty!
